PLANTING

Plant Sourcing

Further to agreement of the planting palette and plan, we can source a competitive trade quotation for the supply and delivery of all of your plants.  We will recommend the optimum size to purchase the plants according to their speed of growth and the available budget.

We ask for a 20% sourcing fee to cover the cost and time associated with visiting with nurseries, obtaining quotes, making decisions on substitutions and any other decisions such as the selection of specimen plants.

Setting Out

We will recommend the best time for planting (i.e., hedging and trees during the bare-root season and bulbs in autumn) and can be on site to set all plants out according to the planting plan.

Plants are positioned and spaced according to their size at maturity and depending upon their species and growth habits. Once accurate setting out has been completed, planting can be carried out by you, our team, or your selected landscape contractor.

Planting

We often manage the planting side of our projects,  sometimes working alongside your landscape contractor to help support their team and answer any questions should they arise.

Maintenance

Maintenance and ongoing care is essential to help ensure that your garden goes from strength to strength and that plants happily settle in.  We can provide a Maintenance Schedule to help guide you, and/or recommend local RHS qualified gardeners for provision of routine care.
